最近看的書總是環繞著吃的題材. 美味之戀算是蠻久之前的書了. 2001年出版, 裏面記載的很多店家不知道現在還在不在. 書名叫做美味之戀的原因除了是描述作者韓良露跟食物的關係以外也可以説是在描寫韓良露因爲食物所繁生出(或者結束)的戀情。 原來不愛吃的人跟愛吃的人是合不來的.

我發現韓良露跟蔡瀾一樣也是煮得一手好菜. 年紀輕輕就當了一家小吃店的廚子. 或許一個真的美食家必須要了解食物是如何烹調上桌以後才能把食物的美味完整的與他的讀者分享， 光說不練的我相比之下整個就遜下去了.

不過怎麽說這都是一本值得看的書, 深入淺出的介紹了好幾種不同國家的菜色以及他們在台灣的歷史. 不會太沉悶, 描述味道也很精確. 雖然我對她對拉麵的評論有少許的意見, 不過整體來説我還是十分敬佩她對食物的了解. 真羡慕她能出生在一個愛好美食的家庭.

美中不足的是這類早期的食評似乎都缺乏相關的照片. 雖然說文筆很重要但是我覺得在說食物的時候沒有讓讀者看到照片的話簡直就像是光看食譜不吃菜. 很難想象那一股味道.

對美食有興趣的人不妨去看看一看美味之戀吧?.

Just finished reading this after borrowing it from the library yesterday.

I couldn’t figure out where is the element of mystery within the book. Even though it is categorized as a detective fiction, it read more like a light novel that didn’t require much thinking. More like a causal read that you can catch a few pages every now and then.

The stories might have been intriguing in the original language (Japanese) or to a Japanese audience, for me it just appear to be another take on the concept of Death and destiny. Guess it’s a different perspective from a Japanese author.
